How to Attract and address your audience. Radio show/ podcast initial ideas and key things to implement.

This will be done through, a radio interview/ podcast.. This is a list of things I will need to bare in mind when creating the script
:

  1. KEEP THE AUDIENCE IN MIND! (both radio show host and interviewee)
  2. Before the show starts, introduce the host (have around 3 voices, interviewer/ host/ radio dj and interviewee)
  3. At the start maybe make a reference to a wider media context.
  4. When introducing interviewee, give their full title. (e.g. creator, writer director)
  5. Be sure to mention that this is their debut film, are there any other directors?
  6. Maybe reference a time where you met the interviewee before.
  7. If the interview has taken place in the past then mention a time and location.
  8. Questions should be long, always ask “why”
  9. Mention awards, previous works etc…
  10. Give a brief description of both previous works as well the production they are currently working on.
  11. The interviewer can make reference to stuff that will take place later in the show such as later interviews, discussions etc… (also feature the line “more later”)
  12. The dj should give brief news coverage (which can relate to the production(film))
  13. The dj will introduce the film show (think of name) and its host
  14. The dj can have more than one story, he can reference them in future tense because the news will be read after the film show (really need a name for that show.)
  15. When the radio show host is describing the person, they can mention anything about them as long as it is media related.

After my ideas have been looked over at a later date I will then begin to start creating a script which all members of the radio will be following, this includes the DJ at the start, the radio show host and the interviewee. (please note the radio show will have a name at the time of recording.)

I am unsure how long the recording will last however I know it will at least last more than 10 minutes simply because of the amount of information which will be said. I hope to keep the pace of the voices at a moderate pace. Not slow enough to bore listeners but fast enough so we got through all the key information within the half an hour mark.
